Stop your obsession with weight

It says that though media and our social and cultural surroundings emphasis on healthy lifestyle but it fails to encourage sedentary people to adopt healthy lifestyle and have daily regime for exercise.
A renowned journal Obesity in its June issue emphasis on the study that women consider themselves overweight compared to men. The racial group of African Americans is less in number considering themselves overweight compared to whites. Particularly men among adults with average to normal weight have weight problems owing to their sedentary lifestyle and lethargic way of living.

Sunday, August 9, 2009 8:32 No CommentsFats are made up of fatty acids and glycerol. Both fatty acids and glycerol contains carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. Fats are solid at 20 degree Celsius. If, they are liquids at this temperature then they are called oils. Fats are digested in digestive system by hydrolysis to fatty acids and glycerol. The fatty acids are divided in to two groups SATURATED FATTY ACIDS and UNSATURATED FATTY ACIDS. Our body cannot synthesize some of the unsaturated fatty acids and it is essential that they are present in the diet we eat. These fatty acids are called essential fatty acids. LINOLEIC ACID and LINOLENIC ACID are some of the examples for essential fatty acids. All the saturated fatty acids are synthesized in the body. Body can also use them if they are supplied through diet.
